  • Approach

I offer integrative psychotherapy and spiritual counseling for individuals, couples, and families (chosen and biological).

Rather than working from a single therapeutic model, I draw from different traditions according to the needs of each person and relationship.

Our work may move between present-moment exploration, understanding longstanding emotional and relational patterns, and concrete practices that support insight and meaningful change in everyday life.

I aim to offer a therapeutic relationship that is warm, direct, collaborative, and grounded in respect for the complexity of each person.

  • Areas of Focus

I have particular experience and interest in supporting you with:

    Spiritual practice & contemplative life
    Meaning, purpose & life direction
    Addiction & harm reduction
    Relationships, intimacy & sexuality
    Trauma, attachment, and emotional patterns
Major transitions & periods of change

My practice is queer-affirming and sex-positive, and welcomes a wide range of identities, relationships, spiritual traditions, and ways of living.

  • Therapeutic Orientation

My work has been shaped by training in experiential, relational, somatic, behavioral, systemic, and mindfulness-based methodologies, including IFS/IFIO, ACT, harm-reduction psychotherapy, and other integrative approaches.

My therapeutic orientation is also deeply informed by many years of Buddhist study and practice. Buddhist psychology and contemplative practice shape how I understand attention, suffering, change, compassion, identity, relationship, and our capacity to relate differently to embodied experience. These perspectives inform my work without requiring clients to hold any particular spiritual or religious beliefs.

I am less interested in applying a particular technique than in understanding what is happening here, with this person, at this moment—and what might help.

  • Session Fees

    Individual psychotherapy — $240 / 60 minutes
